M. Jane Anthony

M. Jane Anthony, age 87, of Minerva went home to be with the Lord, Sun. Feb. 27, 2011 in the Alliance Community Hospital. She was born April 8, 1923 in Sebring to Joseph and Grace (Gillis) Campbell. She retired from TRW in Minerva in 1985 after 23 years of service. She is a member of the Bayard United Methodist Church and a 1940 graduate of Sebring High School.

She is preceded in death by her husband, David Anthony Jr. who died in 1998, two sisters; Ruth Oberg and Joanne Rinehart, three brothers; Donald, Charles and Joseph "Sonny" Campbell, a grandson, Brett Hellyer and a great great grandson Conner Hellyer. She is survived by five children; Ruth Ann (David) Miller of Amsterdam, Patty (Walt) Metzger of Louisville, Connie (Jim) Miller of Amsterdam, Tom (Colleen) Knight of Alexandria, VA and Valerie Anthony-Davis of Minerva, 8 grandchildren; Sharon Aquino, Melissa Metzger, Darrin Metzger, Brian Hellyer, Greg Metzger, Nathan Miller, Eric Miller and Abby Davis, 18 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday at 11:00 am in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Rev. David Guess and Rev. Scott Williams officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery.
