Marlene F. Petros, Age 65, of Malvern, has gone to be with the Lord on Sat., June 11, 2016 in the Arbors of Minerva following a lengthy illness. She was born July 16, 1950 in Ellwood City, PA to Willie and Ginny (Hendershot) (Evans) Britton. She was a housewife and co-owner of Petros Brothers Cement Co. She had formerly worked at the Leslie Oil and Gas Co, the Minerva VFW and Evans Café and Bar.
She is survived by her husband, Dominic "Nick" Petros whom she married Aug. 7, 1982, 4 sons, Michael (Toni) Wisenburg of Waynesburg, Tim Garrick of CA, Troy (Danielle) Wisenburg of East Sparta, Craig (Angel) Wisenburg of Hartville, daughter, Jennifer (Med Salehi) Corbi of Canton, stepson, Michael (Sherri) Petros of Atlanta, GA, brothers, Keith (Laura) Britton of Bolivar, Leonard Britton of Bolivar, Calvin (Jackie) Evans of Malvern, Edward Evans of Minerva, sister, Vicki Robb of Malvern, 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and stepfather, Ben Evans, and a sister, Judy Berry.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday at 11:00 am in the chapel at East Lawn Cemetery with Fr. Victor Cinson officiating. Calling hours will be held one hour prior to services in the chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the Spina Bifida Foundation or Alliance Hospice.
