Obituary
Marla P. Patterson, age 40, of Akron, died Tuesday, October 7, 2014 in her home. She was born Oct. 16, 1973 in Canton to Thomas and Patricia (Rider) Mick.
She is survived by her husband, Scott Patterson whom she married 09/29/1990; a daughter, Kaila Patterson of the home; a son, Devin Patterson of the home; 2 sisters, Dutchess Freeman of Akron, Tabitha (James) Keller of Minerva; 2 half sisters, Kerry Curry of Minerva, Laura Jenkins Vernon of Louisville; and a brother, Daniel (Christina) Mick of East Canton; grandparents, Carolyn Patterson of Daytona, FL, Tom and Edith Mick of Minerva; and Ron Jenkins.
She is preceded in death by her son Orion Patterson.
Following cremation, a memorial gathering will be held Sunday from 2-4 p.m. at Daniel Mick's Home. Those wishing to send condolences may sign the online register book at www.gotschallfuneralhome.com. Memorial donations may be made to the family to help with expenses.
