Marjorie L. Smith

Age 90, of Minerva, died Sunday, Sept. 13, 2020 in Aultman Hospital. She was born May 11, 1930 in Minerva to Raymond and Helen (Roesti) Heim.  She was co-owner of the Maple View Dairy Farm with her husband. She graduated from Minerva High School in 1947 and is a member of the Middle Sandy Presbyterian Church in Homeworth. She is a 77 year member of Greely Grange #1741, and is a member of Columbiana County Pamona Grange, State and National Grange, the Columbiana County Dairy Boosters and the Western Columbiana County Historical Society.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Lowell Smith who died in 2015, a son, Kenneth Smith who died in 2015 and a grandson, Aaron Smith. She is survived by a daughter, Marie Ann (Mike) Clark of Plain City, daughter-in-law, Vicki Smith of Minerva, 3 grandchildren, Adam and Valerie Smith, Abagael (Derek) Winings and a great granddaughter, McKenna Smith.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 11:00 am in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Rev. Marc Shefelton officiating. Burial will be in Moultrie Chapel Cemetery. Calling hours will be one hour prior to services from 10-11 am.  The family requests social distancing and mask standards be observed.
