Marion Wayne Klotz

Age 88, of New Philadelphia, died Sunday, July 22, 2018 at Community Hospice House in New Philadelphia. He was born March 1, 1930 in East Canton to John and Rosa (Hershey) Klotz. He retired from the City of Waverly where he was the Director of Utilities and had also worked as the Director of Utilities for the City of Louisville. He graduated from Malvern High School in 1948 and was a member of the Malvern First Christian Church.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Nora Mae (Wood) Klotz who died in 2017; a sister, Betty Dominic and an infant brother and sister. He is survived by 5 sisters, Doris Chiurco Malvern, Elsie Borland of Canton, Carol (Clarence) Grindstaff of Carrollton, Darlene (Jim) Steffey of Minerva, Barbara (Jim) Franks of Canton South; 2 Brothers, Donald Klotz of Minerva, Glenwood (Sharon) Minerva and lots of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 1:00 pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Franks officiating. Burial will be in the Bethlehem Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Community Hospice.
