Margaret Ellen "Peggy" Hoffmaster, age 81, of Minerva, died Sat., Jan. 11, 2014 in Minerva Eldercare. She was born Sept. 15, 1932 in Scio to James and Eva (Albright) Wood. She was a housewife and Nurses Aide. She graduated from Augusta High School and was a former member of the Minerva Eagles Aerie #2199. Peggy enjoyed the company of all of her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husbands, Melvin Hibbs and Albert Hoffmaster, son, James Mick, son-in-law, Phillip Stephens and 2 great grandchildren.

She is survived by 4 daughters; Tedra Stephens of Malvern, Margaret (Kenneth) Jones of Scio, Patricia (Paul) Shafer of Jewett and Theresa (Jacob) Mullet of Canton South, sister, Erma Jean Norris of Dayton, TN, 14 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren including her special great granddaughter, Genesis.

Funeral services will be Friday at 11:00 am in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Rev. Dale Smith officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Church Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday 6-8 pm in the funeral home.
