Margaret "Mardy" (Elliott) Peddicord

At age 93, of Minerva, passed away Friday, Oct. 3, 2025 in Altercare of Louisville.  She was born July 19, 1932 in Findlay, Ohio to Forest and Josephine (Dick) Slough. She was the clerk and treasurer for the Minerva Public Library for 18 years, had worked for Peddicord Insurance and was the former secretary for the Minerva Senior Center.  She is a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church. She graduated from Findlay High School in 1950 and received a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from The Ohio State University in 1954.

She is preceded in death by her husbands, William Elliott in 1979 and Herbert Peddicord in 2003 and a brother, Richard Slough. She is survived by 3 daughters, Sharlee Edwards of Louisville, Merrilee Elliott of Cleveland, Leslee Elliott of Cleveland, 6 stepchildren, Victor (Jane) Peddicord of Columbus, Greg (Frieda) Peddicord of Richmond, OH, Jody (David) Fuss of Columbus, Herb (Christy) Peddicord Jr. of WV, Timothy (Michelle) Peddicord of Columbus, Laura (Tim) Ford of Minerva, 2 granddaughters, Kelsey and Kate Edwards and 17 step-grandchildren and 21 step-great grandchildren.

Private family services will be held at St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Minerva with Fr. Victor Cinson as celebrant.  Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery.  Memorial donations may be made to the Minerva Public Library or St. Gabriel Catholic Church.
