Marc E. Grumet

Marc Edward Grumet, age 73, of Malvern, OH, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2025, in the Arbors of Minerva. He was born Jan. 17, 1951, in Steubenville, OH, to the late Arthur and Norma Josephine (Febo) Grumet. Following his graduation from Steubenville High School, Marc toured the world in the US Navy, serving as a cook on various aircraft carriers throughout his military career. He retired after more than 20 years of service.

Like many others in his family, Marc's greatest joy came through culinary endeavors. Following his career in the Navy, Marc spent several years in the food service industry in Grand Junction, Colorado before his relocation to Ohio.

Marc is survived by his sister, Miriam Grumet Zacharias of Newport Beach, CA, a nephew, Sam Grumet, of Canton, OH, and many cousins and friends.  He is preceded in death by his brother, Eric Grumet.
