Mallie L. Dunlevy
Mallie L. Dunlevy, age 95, of Minerva passed away, Tuesday, September 13, 2011 in Mercy Medical Center in Canton. She was born February 19, 1916 in Raven Rock, WV to Stroder and Mary (Steele) Grimm. She retired as secretary from Structural Stoneware in Minerva and had worked for Ray Brown Insurance and Harsh Insurance, was a 1933 graduate of Toronto High School, a member of the Minerva Civic Club, Minerva AARP #3720, Carroll Chapter of Eastern Star, Minerva Community Assoc., Bingo Club and Insurance Agents of America. She was also a member of the Minerva First Christian Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband J. Marshall Dunlevy who died in 1992; a sister, Ruth Garner and a grandson, Mark Dunlevy.
She is survived by a son, Barry (Brenda) Dunlevy of Pinehurst, NC; 2 grandchildren, Kelli Jo (Leo) Gonot of Uncasville, Conn., Christina Dunlevy of Pittsburgh, PA; and a great grandson, Logan Gonot of Canton; nieces and nephew, Dan Garner of Lake Milton, Cathy Soffos of Warren, and Karen "Punky" Parker of Warren.
Funeral services will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Mr. Ralph Norman officiating. Entombment will be in Highland Memorial Park in Beloit. Calling hours will be Sunday from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Assoc.
