Makennah L. Shoemaker
Age 8, of Minerva, died Friday, May 1, 2015 in Akron Children's Hospital. She was born April 22, 2007 in Canton. She is a second grade student at Minerva Elementary School.
She is survived by parents, Jamie and Lori (Harsh) Shoemaker, twin sister, Maleah Shoemaker, 4 half brothers; Kayden Doney, Thomas and Logan Beavers and Wyatt Shoemaker, paternal grandparents; William and Carol Shoemaker of Minerva, Jay (Debbie) Harsh of Minerva, great grandparents; Kathryn Eckler of Minerva and Ruth Brammer of Carrollton, aunts and uncles; Ashley and Mike Marshall of Hanoverton, Kim Keister of Minerva, Karla Harsh of Minerva, Matthew Lautzenheiser of Minerva and "out of control" uncle Frank Embrogno of Minerva, special caregiver and great aunt Janet Lautzenheiser and many cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 7pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva. Calling hours will be 4-7 pm Wed. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
