Mackenzi K. Betters

Age 24, of Minerva, died Wednesday, March 12, 2014.  She was born Sept. 7, 1989 in Canton.  She is a 2008 graduate of Minerva High School and R. G. Drage Career Center.

She is survived by her mother, Kim (Bob) (Elliott) Englehart of Minerva; father, Jeff (Tonda) Betters of Pittsburgh; twin sister, Megan Betters of Minerva; brother, Tristan Smith of Minerva; maternal grandmother, Rhonda Davis of Minerva; paternal grandparents, Tom and Judy Betters of TN; maternal great grandmother, Margaret Keppler of Minerva; paternal great grandfather, Thomas Betters of Pittsburgh; 4 uncles and an aunt, Jason (Mary) Elliott of Canton, Jim Elliott of Minerva, Dustin (Christina) Elliott of Minerva, Josh (Jessica) Elliott of Minerva and Jennifer Frazier of TN, niece and nephew, Landon and Madyson Clark of Canton; special cousins, Liberty, McCartney, Elijah, Kelsey and Henry J; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.

She is preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Jim Elliott; paternal grandparents, Robert and Margaret Rothie; and maternal great grandfather, George Keppler; maternal great grandparents, John and EmmaLou Elliott; paternal great grandmother, Jesse Betters.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 16, at 4:00 pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Mr. Dale Roberts officiating.  Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery on Monday. Calling hours will be from 2- 4 pm prior to services on Sunday.
