Lynn A. Truxall, age 54, of Minerva, passed away, surrounded by his family, Monday, Feb. 20, 2012. He was born Sept. 3, 1957 in Alliance. He graduated from Minerva High School in 1975. He was employed by the Columbia Gas Company for 27 years as a pipe line fitter. He was social a member of the Minerva VFW #4120, the Malvern American Legion #375 and was a member of the Minerva Eagles Aerie #2199. Lynn was also a member of the Minerva First Christian Church.

Lynn is survived by his daughter, Katie Marie Truxall of Alliance; mother and stepfather, Shelby (Hawkins) and Richard Baxter of Minerva; brothers, Jeffrey (Launa) Truxall of Minerva and Ty (Aaren) Truxall of Massillon; sister, Carla (Gary) McCourry of Minerva; nieces, Lauren Truxall, Rachel McCourry, nephew; Josh Truxall and many great friends!

He was preceded in death by his father William Truxall.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:00 pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Mr. Ralph Norman officiating. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Thursday 6-8 pm and Friday from 11am – 1pm at the funeral home.
