Lynn A. Davis

Age 69, of Minerva, died Friday, Dec. 24, 2021. He was born Jan. 17, 1952 in Canton, to James and Donna (Moore) Davis. He retired from the Hoover Company where he was a machine repairman for 30 years.  He graduated from Minerva High School in 1970.  He is a 3 ^rd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and Karate and he is a member of the Canton Karate Club and the United States Karate Association.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Janice (Stockum) Davis whom he married Sept. 13, 1996, daughter, Stephanie (David) Gilles of Columbus, 3 sons, Sean (Kelli) Davis of Paris, Craig (Christina) Hurst of Minerva, Todd (Kelly) Hurst of Pekin, brother, Todd Davis of Pekin and 11 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 11:00 am in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Chaplain Larry Karlen officiating.  Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery.  Calling hours will be Wednesday 6-8 pm in the funeral home.
