Lynn R. Arnold
age 69, of Minerva and formerly Homeworth and North Jackson, passed away peacefully at home following a short battle with cancer, Thursday, Aug. 4, 2016. He was born Nov. 28, 1946 to Helen (Mercer) Arnold of North Middletown and the late Lauren Arnold. He had been a farmer and a proud collector and restorer of vintage Ford and Allis-Chalmers tractors and could often be seen at local tractor and truck pulls. He graduated from Jackson Milton High School in 1965 and is a member of the NRA.
In addition, to his mother, he is survived by a daughter, Lynnette (Donald) Rancourt of Pompano Beach, FL, son, Todd Arnold of Alliance, sister, Darla King of New Middleton and nieces, Jennifer (Doug) Moore and Kelly King and Enslee King, brother, Rick Arnold of AZ and 2 granddaughters, Dayle and Delaney Arnold.
Following cremation, a memorial service will be held Tuesday, at 6:00 pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva. Friends may call 2 hours prior to services from 4-6 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Crossroads Hospice or the American Cancer Society. The family would like to request that for health reasons, please do not discuss the death with his mother Helen Arnold.
