Lucille Laura Clark
Age 84, of Minerva, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2015 in the Carroll Health Care Center in Carrollton. She was born Jan. 10, 1931 in Kensington, the daughter of Dewey and Mary (Becker) Dickey. She graduated from Minerva High School in 1949. She worked as a typist for the Minerva Wax Paper Co. for 9 years and spent many years farming, taking care of crops and livestock. She was a member of the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, Ladies Auxiliary of United Trainmen and the Carroll County Farm Bureau. She enjoyed growing flowers, gardening, sewing and quilting.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Clark and a sister, Irene Herold. She is survived by daughter, Connie (Charles) Hahlen of Uniontown, son, Roger (Laura) Clark of Minerva, sister, Esther Barker of League City, TX, brother, Dwight (Ida) Dickey of Pensacola, FL, brother-in-law, Robert Herold of Alliance, 3 grandchildren, Sarah (Patrick) Draime of Uniontown, Seth (Natalie) Hahlen of Norton, and Gabrielle Clark of Minerva and 4 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11:00 am in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Pastor John Carpenter officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday 2-4 and 6-8 pm and one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church.
