Linda K. Tarbet, age 64, of Minerva, died Tues., June 5, 2012 in her home. She was born Aug. 4, 1947 in Canton to the late Myron and Helen (Birch) Hoagland. She was a rural carrier for the Malvern Post Office for 19 years. She graduated from Timken High School and is a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, the Minerva Eagles Aerie #2199 Aux, and the Minerva VFW Aux.

She is survived by her husband, Willard Tarbet whom she married Feb. 4, 1967; daughter, Jodi (Jeff) Woodside of Oviedo, FL; son, Willard (JoAnn) Tarbet II of Palm Bay, FL; 2 sisters, Marilyn (Frank) Tuzzio of Green and Shirley (Tom) Colaner of Bowling Green; 2 brothers, Ron (Barb) Hoagland of Phoenix, AZ and Joseph (Debbie) Hoagland of Canton; sister-in-law, Linda Hoagland of Canton; 3 grandchildren, Sydney Woodside, Austin and Chelsea Tarbet.

She is preceded in death by 2 brothers, Myron Jr. and James Hoagland.

Mass of the Christian Burial will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in St. Gabriel Catholic Church with Fr. Victor Cinson as celebrant. Calling hours will be Friday from 6-8 p.m. in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Carroll County Hospice.
