Linda F. Riesen

Age 76, of Alliance, died Saturday, Nov. 19, 2022 surrounded by her family.  She was born Nov. 9, 1946 in Canton to the late William and Faye (Brothers) Kinsey. She retired from the Homeworth Post Office where she was a rural carrier for 29 years.  She is a member and past elder of the Stillfork Presbyterian Church.  She graduated from Minerva High School in 1964.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jim Riesen who died in 2004 and a daughter, Sara Kubankin in 2010. She is survived by 2 daughters, Charlene (Frank) Evans of Homeworth, Marcia Phillis of Beloit, 2 sons, Matthew Riesen of Salem, Steven Riesen of Sheridan, WY, 2 sisters, Barbara Edward of Minerva, Patti Catlett of Minerva, brother, Wallace (Deidre) Kinsey of Minerva and 8 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11:00 am in the Stillfork Presbyterian Church in Augusta with Rev. Ryan Hale officiating.  Burial will be in Augusta Cemetery.  Calling hours will be one hour prior to services from 10-11 am at the church.
