Linda K. Monk

Age 77, of Minerva, died Thursday, July 13, 2017 in Minerva Eldercare. She was born May 7, 1940 in Hutchison, KS to Harold and Darlene (Mitchell) Schroll. She worked at Coastal Pet in Alliance and was a member of the Minerva First Christian Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Monk who died in 2003, 2 sisters, Marsha Monk and Glenda Turner and a granddaughter, Nichole Monk. She is survived by a daughter, Kelle (Fred) McCracken of Pinehurst, NC, 3 sons, Frank (Ann) Monk of Minerva, Randy Monk of TX, Scott (Anita) Monk of Aberdeen, NC, 2 sisters, Karen (Lloyd) Cross of Topeka, KS, Shelle (Jimmy) Adamopoulos of Nashville, TN, brother, George Sanders of Malvern, 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Monday at 10:00 am in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Fr. Joseph DiStefano officiating. Burial will be in Heritage Memorial Gardens. Calling hours will be Sunday 5-8 pm at the funeral home.
