Linda R. Bucher

Age 77, of East Rochester, died Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at Minerva Healthcare and Rehab Center. She was born in East Rochester on August 13, 1942 to Charles and Margaret (Carnahan) Simpson. She graduated from Minerva in 1960 and retired from Thermo Devices in Minerva after 33 years. She was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir for years and is a member of the United Methodist Women. She loved animals and never met an animal she didn't like.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Bucher, who died January 9, 2009; a sister, Joann Dunlap and a brother, Danny Simpson.

She is survived by a sister, Judy Cooper of Minerva; a sister-in-law, Patricia Simpson of East Rochester and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Friday at 7:00pm in the Gotschall Hutchison Funeral Home with Rev. John Carpenter officiating. Burial will be in the East Lawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 4-7 prior to the funeral. Memorial Donations may be made to the Mt. Zion Methodist Church.
