Leroy "Bub" Weikart

Age 90, of Minerva, died Monday, Nov. 23, 2020. He was born Sept. 14, 1930 in North Lima to Leroy and Thelma (Yeagley) Weikart. He worked in Maintenance at Structural Stoneware in Minerva. He is a member of Locust Grove Baptist Church where he was a life member of the Church Men's Quartet. He graduated from Greenford High School and was an airplane pilot, loved singing, woodworking and a good piece of pie.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Wilma "Billie" Weikart who died Feb. 13, 2020, a brother, Arlin Weikart and a grandson. He is survived by 3 daughters, Jacki (Jim) Reed of Alliance, Kathi (Ken) Sabatin of Paris, Bari Lawson of Malvern, 2 sons, John (Marie) Weikart of Minerva, Chris (Karen) Weikart of Jamestown, NY, sister, Diane (Sam) Waseman of Pattersonville, brother, Donald (Beverly) Weikart of Montana, 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Following cremation, a graveside services will be held at a later date in the Locust Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
