Leroy R. Hershberger, age 70, of Kensington, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, Dec. 28, 2014. He was born July 17, 1944 in Hartville to Raymond J. and Susan Hershberger. He is a member of Glade Run Mennonite Church.

He is survived by his wife, Alta (Miller) Hershberger whom he married Sept. 14, 1963; five children, Virgil of Fairfield, MT, Clarence of Farmington, NM, David (Melissa) of Madras, OR, Raymond (Phyllis) of Halsey, OR and Leora (Andrew) Slabaugh of Sligo, PA; and 15 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Susan Hershberger; sister, Leora Hershberger; and stepmother, Fannie Hershberger.

Funeral services will be Thursday, Jan. 1 at 10:00 am in the Glade Run Mennonite Church at 7044 Bane Rd., Kensington with Lester Otto, Phil Mullet and Levi Beidler officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm in the Glade Run Mennonite Church.
