Leonard N. Henson, age 96, of Minerva, died Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2015 in Minerva Eldercare. He was born Dec. 7, 1919 in Canton to James and Nancy (Noe) Henson. He was a pug mill operator for Natco in East Canton. He is a US Army Veteran of WWII.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly (Watson) Henson, son, Jim (Julie) Henson of Robertsville, 2 stepdaughters, Sue (Joe) Featheringham of Minerva, Karen Bolton of Minerva, daughters-in-law, Cheryl Henson of Robertsville and Sally Barnes of Minerva, several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his first wife, Grace Henson, son, Jerry Henson, stepdaughter, Georgia Galbraith, stepson, Randy Barnes and all his brothers and sisters. The family would like to give thanks to Andrew Miller for his special care for the last two years.

Following cremation, a graveside military service will be held Saturday at 3:00 pm in Liberty Cemetery.
