Lenora J. Gotschall, age 93, of Minerva, died Friday, Jan. 16, 2015 in Aultman Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born Dec. 21, 1921 in Malvern to Ernie and Gertrude (Wyvill) Martin. She was a housewife. She was a member of the Minerva United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. She graduated from Malvern High School in 1940 and was a member of the Carroll Chapter OES #315, former member of the Minerva Garden Club and the American Legion Aux. Post #357.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Cyril Gotschall who died in 1997; and 2 brothers, Ralph and Clarence Martin. She is survived by 3 daughters and a son all of Minerva, Cheryl Gotschall, Mary Ann (Larry) Hawk Jr., Linda Stalder and Donald (Patti) Gotschall; a brother, Russell Martin of FL; 5 grandchildren, Butch (Christy) Hawk, Ryan Hawk, Marissa (Corey) Essick, Justin Stalder and Curt Jays; 3 great grandchildren, Logan and Lane Hawk and Melah Essick; and a special nephew, Willie (Carole) Martin.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11:00 am in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Rev. Harley Wheeler officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be Tuesday 5-8 pm in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Minerva United Methodist Church Memorial Fund.
