Lee Ann Wise, age 60, of Canton, died Sunday, Jan. 19, 2014 in Mercy Medical Center after a long illness. She was born Dec. 17, 1953 in Canton to the late Leebert and Anna Mary (Carpino) Wise. She worked for Nationwide Insurance in Canton. She was a US Navy Veteran, a 1972 graduate of Minerva High School and a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Minerva.

She is survived by 2 sisters, Rose (Terry) Schupbach of Minerva and Judith Ann (Lennie) Shaw of Weirton, WV; a brother-in-law, Ronnie Hardgrove of Minerva; 6 nieces, Robin, Marci, Kristi, Kara, Staci and Alexis; a nephew, Ron; 8 great nieces and 6 great nephews. She is preceded in death by a sister, Mary Jane Hardgrove.

A Mass of the Christian Burial will be Friday at 10:00 am in St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Minerva with Fr. Victor Cinson as celebrant. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park with full military honors. Calling hours will be Thursday from 5-8 pm at the church.
