Lee Daniel Meadows
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Lee Danial Meadows, who entered eternal rest on June 24, 2026, at the age of 70.
Born on September 26, 1955, in Canton, Ohio, Lee lived a life defined by kindness, generosity, and an unwavering love for his family and friends. His warm smile, quick wit, and willingness to help anyone in need left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Originally from Louisville, Ohio, Lee made Minerva his home for nearly 30 years before moving to Waynesburg. He recently retired from the Stark County Sewer Department, where he proudly served as a dispatcher. He took great pride in his work, but his greatest joy was always found in the time he spent with his family and friends.
Lee is survived by his devoted wife, Darlene Meadows; his son, Nathan Meadows (Minerva); his son, Andrew (Kristin) Meadows (Minerva); his daughter, Emily Meadows (Malvern); his brother, Paul Meadows; his sister-in-law, Judy Meadows; and his cherished grandsons, Tucker Russell, Corwin Meadows, and Oswald Meadows, who brought immeasurable joy to his life.
He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Meadows; his mother, Grace Meadows; and his brother, Bruce Meadows.
Lee had a passion for life and embraced every opportunity to enjoy it. Whether he was on the golf course, playing volleyball, bowling with friends, or gathered around a card table sharing stories and laughter, he treasured time spent with those he cared about. He was an avid collector of Pepsi memorabilia and knives, and he had a lifelong appreciation for Volkswagen automobiles, admiring both their history and craftsmanship.
More than anything, Lee will be remembered for his compassionate heart, his infectious sense of humor, and his unwavering dedication to his family. He lived a life filled with laughter, friendship, and love, leaving behind countless memories that will continue to bring comfort to those who knew him.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Lee’s life during calling hours on Wednesday, July 1, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva.
Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing that Lee’s love, kindness, and spirit will live on through the family he cherished, the friends he treasured, and the many lives he touched.
Those wishing to share condolences and memories may do so through the online guestbook at www.gotschallfuneralhome.com.
