Lee D. Barnett Sr.

Age 90, of Pasadena, MD, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2026 in Brookdale Senior Living Center in Canton Ohio. He was born Aprill 11, 1936 in Canton, Ohio to Robert and Marie (Labus) Barnett. He retired from Northrup Grunman where he had worked as an electrical engineer for 34 years. He graduated from Minerva High School in 1954 and received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University. He was active in the Sillery Bay Boat Club as vice president as part of the Sillery Bay Improvement Association and was a member of the Moose Club. Lee was in multiple golf leagues over the years and enjoyed annual golf trips to Santee South Carolina. He also enjoyed boating on the Magothy River (MD), Lake Mohawk (OH) and just putzing around the water which made him happy. Back in the day, Lee hosted pool parties with good friends, good food and played in softball and volleyball leagues. He traveled to Ohio numerous times a year to spend time with his family and see old high school friends.

He is survived by 2 sons, Lee Don (Stephanie) Barnett Jr. of Massillon, Robert “Bill” (Christine) Barnett of Louisville, 4 grandchildren, Ashlee Joy (fiancé Alec Drzemiecki) Barnett, Lee Don “Trey” Barnett III, Nicholas James (fiancé Amy Bruce) Barnett. Jason William (Maria) Barnett and a great grandson, Luca Jay Barnett.
