Lavonne L. Vasilliu
Age 79, of Minerva, died Thursday, March 19, 2015 in Mercy Medical Center. She was born Nov. 20, 1935 in Bayard to Orlen "Pete" and Gladys (Livelsberger) Harsh. She was an employee of the Village of Minerva and a deli cook for Cap's Grocery in Minerva.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Vasilliu Sr. whom she married March 9, 1953, daughter, Lili Patterson (Rick Williamson) of Crystal River, FL, 2 sons; Thomas (Adda) Vasilliu of Minerva and Jeffrey (Debbie) Vasilliu of Minerva, 2 sisters; Deloris Haynam and Nancy Haynam both of Minerva, 5 grandchildren; Tommy (Tessa) Vasilliu III, Darcie Vasilliu, J.D. (Sara) Vasilliu, Anthony (Miranda) Vasilliu and Jesse Lee (Danielle) Patterson and 12 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters; Nedra, Dean, John, Katherine, Leland, Twila "Ilene", Omagean, Ruth, Orlen "Junior" and William.
Following cremation, a celebration of her life will be held Sunday, March 29th from 2-4 pm in the Minerva VFW on Roosevelt St. in Minerva.
