Laura M. Morckel

Age 91, of Robertsville, died Thursday, September 20, 2018 in the St. Joseph Care Center in Louisville. She was born December 20, 1926 in Stone Creek, OH to Robert and Kathryn (Miller) Lehman. She was a waitress at P&B Barbeque in Canton and was a member of the National AARP.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Morckel, who died in 2015; sister, Peggy Swartzentruber; 5 brothers, Robert, John "Ted," Donald, Dale, and Charles Lehman; 2 sisters-in-law, Erma Lehman and JoAnn Lehman; a brother-in-law, Ralph Lahmers. She is survived 3 sisters, Mardell Lahmers of East Sparta, Bessie (Wayne) Bissell of Dover, Audrey Green (Soloman Eicher) of Dundee; brothers, Roger (Janice) Lehman of East Canton, Chester (Cathy) Lehman of Stone Creek; brother-in-law, Ervin Swartzentruber of New Philadelphia; several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11:00 am in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Rev. Peggy Gardner officiating. Calling hours will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the St. Joseph Care Center.
