Kirk Hannen, age 64, of East Rochester, Ohio, died peacefully, Sunday, December 25, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born September 16, 1952 in Canton to the late Carl and Juanita (Miller) Hannen. He retired from the Ford Motor Company where he was a press operator for 35 years, a 1971 graduate of Minerva High School, and is a member of the Minerva First Christian Church. He is also a member of the Moose Lodge and the Free and Accepted Masons in Indianapolis.

He is survived by his best friend, Gladys Haines; daughter, Ashley Hannen of Indianapolis; son, Elliott (Kaley) Hannen of Minerva; brother, Bruce Hannen of Pickerington; 2 grandchildren, Kylie and Liam.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be held Thursday at 6:00 pm in the Minerva First Christian Church with Pastor Dale Roberts officiating. Calling hours will be held from 5-6 pm prior to services. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
