Kenneth L. Smith, Age 61, of Minerva, died Thursday, Aug. 27, 2015 in the Cleveland Clinic. He was born March 14, 1954 in Canton to Marjorie (Heim) Smith of Minerva and the late Lowell Smith. He was the owner of Maple View Dairy Farm. He is a member of the Middle Sandy Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Homeworth, Greely Grange, State and National Grange and the Ohio Farm Bureau.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 38 years, Vicki (Wilson) Smith whom he married April 2, 1977, daughter, Valerie Smith of Kent, son, Adam (Megan) Smith of Cuyahoga Falls, sister, Marie Ann (Mike) Clark of Plain City, granddaughter, McKenna Smith, mother and father-in-law, Robert and Patricia Wilson and niece, Abagael Clark of Plain City. He is preceded in death by a son, Aaron Lee Smith.

Funeral services will be Monday at 11:00 am in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Rev. Tracy Edwards officiating. Burial will be in Moultrie Chapel Cemetery. Calling hours will Sunday 6-8 pm in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alliance Hospice or the Middle Sandy Evangelical Presbyterian Church.
