Kelvin R. Louive

Age 67, of Minerva, died Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2021. He was born Oct. 25, 1954 in Canton to the late Frank and Shirley (Harsh) Louive. He graduated from Minerva High School in 1973, and is a US Army Veteran.  He had worked for Harbor Winds Marina in Marblehead, OH and for American Steel in Alliance.

He is survived by 2 daughters, Melissa Louive of FL, Katie (Shawn) Deitch of Dillsburg, PA, sister, Angela (Steve) Filisky of Minerva, 3 brothers, John (Susie) Louive of Minerva, Marty Louive of Minerva, Steve Louive of IN, 2 grandchildren, Ava and Aiden Deitch.  He is preceded in death by a son, Jason Louive and a brother, Frank Louive.

Funeral services will be Monday at 7:00 pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with officiating. Calling hours will be 2 hours prior to services from 5-7 pm at the funeral home.
