Keith W. Jackson, age 88, of Minerva, died Wed., Aug. 27, 2014 in his home surrounded by his family. He was born May 17, 1926 in Limaville, OH to Ralph and Edith (Kelly) Jackson. He was an Industrial Engineer for the Timken Company and a Foreman for Baxter Tube in Minerva and was owner of Lone Oaks Farms. He graduated from Alliance High School and was a US Army Veteran of WWII. He was a member of the Minerva Eagles Aerie #2199, the Republican Party, NRA, and the Reagan Ranch and the Heritage Foundation. He was the first farmer in the area to put his land in the farmland preservation program.
He is survived by 7 children and 3 stepchildren; Larry (Donna) Jackson of Carrollton, Deborah (John) Bowman of Minerva, Michael Keith Jackson of Lake Milton, Constance Biggs of East Rochester, Jason Gromley-Jackson of East Rochester, Corinna (Neil) Gromley of Kensington, Tyra (Brian) Bulson of Solon, Seth Gromley-Jackson of Minerva, Kelly (Steven) Globec of Sunbury and Hali (Martin) Moleski of Hiram, 17 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by a sister, Devona Gamble and 2 brothers, Duane and Donald Jackson.
