Kay E. Hilverding, age 76, of Minerva, died Sunday, Nov. 22, 2015 in Aultman Compassionate Care. She was born September 9, 1939 in Alliance to Russell and Gladys (Mercer) Hetrick. She retired from the Village of Minerva after nearly 40 years of service where she was the Water and Sewer Clerk. She is a member of the Minerva United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women and is Treasurer of the Searchers Sunday School Class. She is a graduate of Minerva High School in 1957, former employee of the Minerva Wax Paper, bookkeeper for Wade Realty and an avid scrapbooker. She will be remembered fondly for sending out cards to mark important occasions in every ones lives.
She is survived by a daughter, Judie (Terry) Zwick of Minerva, son, Jamie Hilverding of Garrettsville, sister, Anna Mae (Carmen) Greco of Louisville, brother, Jim (Linda) Hetrick of Minerva, 5 grandchildren; Samantha Zwick (Joe Anderson), Tara Hilverding, Taylor Zwick (Jake Walter), Russell Hilverding and Elizabeth "Liz" Hilverding.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11:00 am in the Minerva United Methodist Church with Pastor Harley Wheeler officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be Tuesday 5-8 pm at the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home and one hour prior to services at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the church memorial fund.
