Kathy D. Turner

Age 69, of Malvern, died Monday, Nov. 21, 2022, in her home surrounded by her family. She was born, March 2, 1953, in Canton to the late Vance and Mary (Orendorf) Mayle. She retired from Mercy Medical Center where she was a radiologist for 41 years, spending the last 27 years in Carrollton at Mercy Health Center. She graduated from McKinley High School in 1971 and Mercy Hospital School of Radiology.  She is a member of the Minerva Community Church.  She was active and enjoyed Stampin' Up and being with her friends at Scrap Fest and Card Club.

She is survived by her husband, William Turner, Jr. whom she married Feb. 28, 1976; a daughter, Rachel (Daniel) Worley of Malvern; a son, Nathaniel Turner of Cuyahoga Falls; a brother, Gary (Darlene) Mayle of Bolivar; and her granddaughter Cora, who was the light of her life.

Kathy always said God is in control and all is well and she would be cancer free. She has crossed over into the Kingdom of God, where the Most Hight dwells. Where Glory and Pleasure are forevermore. Blessings to all that prayed for her during this trial.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Pastor Harvey Miller officiating. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral home and Saturday one hour prior to services.
