Katherine L. Hiller

Age 56, of Brookville, PA, died Sunday, November 3, 2013 in Allegheny General Hospital. She was born Feb. 4, 1957 in Camp Lejeune, NC to Bill and LoEtta (Guthrie) Bruner. She worked at the Hineman Saw Co. in Canton, was a quality control inspector for DLH Industries in Canton, union steward for United Steel #5439, member of the Women of steel, graduated Camp Lejeune High School and attended Kent State Stark.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Hiller whom he married Nov. 17, 2000; 2 daughters, Krissaundra (John) Oaks of DuBois, PA, Sierra (Shawn) Wayts of East Rochester; 2 sons, Kenneth (Katie) Megofna of Indiana, Manuel (Kari) Megofna of DuBois, PA; 2 step sons, Eric Hiller of Navarre, Jason Hiller of Canton; 2 sisters, Theresa (Paul) Hayes of East Canton, Alice Benedict of Bayard; a brother, Thomas (Crystal) White of Pittsburgh, PA; 11 grandchildren; and 6 step grandchildren; dear friend, Tanya Kelly of Luthersburgh, PA; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva, OH with Mr. Mark Black officiating. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery in Malvern, OH. Calling hours will be Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, Breast Cancer Awareness or to preserve the rainforest.
