Karen Hodge
Age 53 of East Canton died Thursday April 14, 2011 in the University Hospital of Cleveland. She was born July 26, 1957 in Homestead, PA to the late John and Virginia (Sweeny) Havrilla. She is a retired pre-school teacher having taught at the Minerva Area Christian School and Union Ave. pre-school. She is a member of the Minerva First Christian Church.
She is survived by her husband Randal Hodge who she married in 1978, a daughter, Deanna Hodge of Uniontown, son Matthew (Jenna) Hodge of Navarre, two sisters; Donna Wadding of East Canton and Diann (David) Popoleo of White Oak, PA, two brothers; John (Angie) Havrilla of Spartanburg, SC and Rich Havrilla of Kinston, NC and a granddaughter, Isabella Hodge.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11:00 am in the Minerva First Christian Church with Mr. Ralph Norman officiating. Burial will be in Mapleton Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday 6-8 pm in the Minerva First Christian Church and one hour prior to services. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army
