1. Helen Suder

Age 91, of Minerva, died Monday, Sept. 28, 2020 in St. Luke Lutheran Community in Minerva. She was born Aug. 27, 1929 in Buckhannon, WV to Benjamin and Jessie (Rowan) Hornbeck. She was a housewife and a longtime member of the Minerva Church of Christ where her and her husband were very active in the Clothing Drive for 26 years.  He favorite pastimes were gardening, canning and sewing, especially quilts. She was a great mother and an example for everyone.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Alva Suder Jr. who died in 2019, sister, Barbara White and 2 brothers, Frank Hornbeck and Lewis Eugene Hornbeck. She is survived by 2 daughters, Judith (Richard) Ehling of Winter Springs, FL, Sandra (Bob) Trussel of Minerva, 3 grandchildren; Gary (Deema) Yeagley, Molly (Ben) Winslow, Gregg (Amy) Trussel, 6 great grandchildren; Ida and Lew Yeagley, Morgan (Dillon) Long, Izaak Trussel, Anna Wolf, Reece Wolf and a great great granddaughter, Guinevere Long.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 12 noon in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Mr. Marty Martin officiating. Burial will be in Heritage Memorial Gardens. Calling hours will be two hours prior to services from 10 am to 12 noon at the funeral home
