Judy A. Gardner

Age 72, of Minerva, passed away, Thursday, July 27, 2023 in the Cleveland Clinic. She was born April 5, 1951 in East Canton to the late Raymond John and Pauline (Neely) Cross. She retired from Oakhill Manor in Louisville where she had worked for 49 years, starting as a nurses aid and retiring as a Nurse.  She graduated from East Canton High School and Canton Practical Nursing School.  She is a member of the Minerva VFW Aux. Post #4120.

She is survived by her husband, Victor Gardner whom she married in 1995, 2 daughters, Paula Marker of Minerva, Cristina (Craig) Campbell of Canton, stepdaughter, Lisa (James) McVay of Salineville, 3 grandchildren, Brook Marker, Brian Marker, Raena Campbell and 2 great grandchildren, Jase Wilder and Kiersten Campbell. She is preceded in death by a son-in-law, Randy Marker, sister, Karen Cupp, 2 brothers, Gary and Kim Cross.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11:00 am in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Chaplain Larry Karlen officiating.  Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery.  Calling hours will be Tuesday 5-7 pm in the funeral home.  Those wishing to send condolences may sign the online register at www.gotschallfuneralhome.com.
