Obituary

Judith Ann Lautzenheiser

October 3, 1951 – November 19, 2024

Judith Ann "Judy" Lautzenheiser was born in Canton, Ohio, to Karl "Bud" and Ruth (Purdue) Stoller. She passed away at the age of 73 at the Arbors at Minerva. She was married to her husband and best friend, Gary Lautzenheiser, for 53 years.

Judy was a graduate of Minerva High School, a wife, mother, and homemaker. She also worked as a custodian at St. Paul's Lutheran Church for many years. When not cooking, reading, or doing word searches, you could find her spending time with her grandkids or attending their events. She was incredibly passionate about sports and watching baseball - live and on TV.

Judy's most significant legacy is her six children and five grandchildren. With such a large family, Judy was a natural caregiver: loving, incredibly patient, and bull-headed. One of her classic sayings was, "Wait 'til your father gets home!"

Judy is survived by her husband Gary, and children, Tracy Lautzenheiser and Dawn Lautzenheiser of Minerva, Candace (Rich) Clapper of Kernersville, NC, Keith (DeeDee) Lautzenheiser of Minerva, Mark (Danielle) Lautzenheiser of Oak Ridge, NC, and Chad (Amanda) Lautzenheiser of Minerva. Her grandchildren, Nicholas, Connor, Claire, Emily, and Zella, were her pride and joy. She is also survived by a brother, Chuck (Pam) Stoller of Minerva, and was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Rick Lautzenheiser.

Calling hours will be held November 30, 2024, from 10 am till 12 noon in St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Minerva, followed by a graveside service at East Lawn Cemetery in Minerva. Friends and family are invited to a meal at St. Paul's after the service at noon.
