Josephine Faye. Elton
Age 89 of Minerva died Tuesday Dec. 13, 2011 in the Alliance Community Hospital. She was born Aug. 12, 1922 in Canton to Lloyd and Elizabeth (Speicher) Carr. She was the manager of the Minerva Quik Shop for 22 years. She graduated from Minerva High School in 1940 and was a member of the Minerva VFW Aux.
She is preceded in death by her husband Wayne "Fuzz" Elton who died on the same day, Dec 13, 1990. She is survived by two daughters; Claudia (Jerry) Weber of Minerva and Cynthia (Jim) Davison of Minerva, son; Randy Elton of Fort Lauderdale, FL, sister; Dorothy Larson of Plymouth, IN, 8 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Friday at 1:00 pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home with Rev. Harley Wheeler officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery. Calling hours will be one hour prior to services from noon to 1pm.
