Joseph L. Toalston

Age 62, of Kensington, died Thursday, Dec. 29, 2022 in his home surrounded by his family.  He was born Dec. 9, 1960 Salem to Mary (Cameron) Toalston of Kensington and the late Donald Toalston. He was a heavy equipment operator and auto mechanic. He loved fishing and helping friends and family. He was always willing to help anyone who needed help.  He will be missed by many.

He is a loving husband, son, brother and uncle and in addition to his mother, he is survived his wife of 40 years, Sharon (Rutledge) Toalston whom he married Aug. 23, 1982, sister, Glenda (Mike) Lacey of Columbiana, 3 brothers, Mike (Carol) Toalston of Kansas, David (Cindy) Toalston of Vermont, Donald (Sara) Toalston of Kensington and lots of nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews and Mike Poole who was like a son he never had.

Funeral services will be Friday at 8:00 pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva.  Calling hours will be Friday two hours prior to services from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
