Joseph Teixeira

Age 67, was born in Montreal, Canada on September 21, 1953.  He was adopted on June 3, 1954 by Marie and Frank Teixeira and raised in Lodi, New Jersey.  Joseph graduated from Lodi High School in 1972.  He later attended Ellis Hospital School of Nursing and graduated in 1983 and practiced as a registered nurse for 35 years until retiring in 2018.

Joseph was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 4357 and a registered parishioner at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Naples, FL.  He also worshipped at St. William Catholic Church in Naples and St. Elizabeth Seton in Golden Gate.

Joseph is survived by his partner of 38 years, Richard Cook, in Naples, Florida as well as his sister, Frances.

Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Friday, August 6th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 7775 Vanderbilt Beach Road Ext., Naples. Final burial was in Moultrie Chapel Cemetery near Minerva.
