Reverend Joseph W. Javorsky, age 39, of Lake Placid, Fla., entered the church triumphant early Tuesday morning, April 1, 2014. Joseph was born in Canton, Ohio, June 30, 1974. He was the son of Carol (Bush) and Edward Javorsky. After graduating from Minerva High School in 1992, he enrolled at Grove City College in Pa., where he got his undergraduate degree. He then attained his Master of Divinity degree at Lutheran Southern Seminary, in Columbia, SC. He then moved to Shyenne, ND, where he did his internship. Joseph had been an active minister for the past 10 years in Nebraska.

He is survived by 2 sons, Simon and Noah of Nebraska; 2 sisters, Renee (Todd) Carle, and Cynthia (Terry) Thompson; 3 nephews, Marc, Matthew, Stephen; 2 nieces, Melissa and Sarah . He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Javorsky, a brother Marc Javorsky and a sister Pat Kirk.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 12 in St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Minerva with Rev. Joseph Ertl and Rev. Steven Woyen officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery.
