John Hafner Jr.
Age 99 died Wed. April 18th, 2012 in the Country Club in Dover. He was born Dec. 6, 1912 in Dover to John and Mary (Peck) Hafner. He retired from Gateway Transportation in Canton where he was a truck driver.
He is survived by his children; John (Sharon) Hafner of Canton, Ron Hafner of Carrollton, Carol (Dale) Grim of Carrollton, Christine Mason of New Philadelphia, Steve (Dorothy "Jane") Hafner of Minerva, Roseanna Throckmorton of Minerva and David Hafner of Minerva, 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Wuslick and 5 brothers; Frank, Andy, Walter, Albert and Kenny Hafner.
Following cremation, a graveside service will be held Monday April 30, at 11:00 am in Liberty Cemetery with Mr. Ralph Norman officiating.
