John N. Clemens

Age 76, of Minerva, died Sunday, June 5, 2022 in his home surrounded by his family.  He was born Dec. 20, 1945 in Canton to the late John and Helen Clemens. He is retired and was the owner of D&J Salvage in Salem and Clemens Reclamation .  He went to Augusta High School and was in the US Army Reserves.  He loved fishing, gardening and woodworking.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Toni Spivey, 4 children, Laura Lindsly of WV, April Spivey of Cuyahoga Falls, Jessie and Chris Spivey both of Minerva, 4 sisters, Gloria Hamilton of Kensington, Sandy Haley of Hanoverton, Tish (Bob) Gray of Augusta, Vicki Fankhauser of Minerva, 3 brothers, Larry (Debbie) Clemens of Sebring, Jim (Vicki) Clemens of Kensington, Richie Clemens of Michigan, 15 grandchildren, Michael, Ali, John Paul, Madison, William, Larisa, Brooklyn, Aiden, Avery, Cadie, Colleen, Liam, Lennie, Jaylen and 6 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by three brothers and a sister-in- law, Ronnie and his wife Kim, Gary and Ricky Clemens and 3 brothers-in-law, Bruce Fankhauser and Dave Haley and Jim Hamilton.
