John C. Brothers

Age 94, of Malvern, died Tuesday, May 18, 2021 in the Truman House in New Philiadelphia. He was born March 8, 1027 in Minerva to Robert and Ruth (Whitten) Brothers. He retired from Metropolitan Industries where he had worked for 44 years.  He is a graduate of Minerva High School in 1948 and served in the US Navy in the Seabees.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Brothers who died in 2009, and a brother and his wife, Richard and Jacqueline Brothers. He is survived by a daughter, Kathy Sue Brothers of New York City and several nieces and nephews.

Following cremation, a graveside service will be held Tuesday at 11:00 in Liberty Cemetery with Chaplain Larry Karlen officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice.
