John W. Allen Jr.
Age 78, of Paris, passed away Sat. June 18, 2016 in Mercy Medical Center after a brave battle with Parkinson's Disease. He was born Nov. 28, 1937 in Charleston, WV to John and Frankie (Moss) Allen. He was a mechanic by trade having owned Allen's Brake Service in Minerva and North Canton.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Linda (Lalli) Allen who passed away in 2013. He is survived by a daughter, Debbie Townsend of Canton, 2 sons, and daughters-in-law, Mike (Jennifer) Allen and Bob (Connie) Allen both of Minerva, brother, Larry (Alice) Allen of Louisville, sister, Ann (Randy) Carpenter of GA, four grandchildren, Cheri (Mike) Mondich, Kevin (Crystal) Townsend, John Allen and Maria Allen, 3 great grandchildren, Emily, Hudson and Cole, several nieces, nephews, brother's and sister's-in-law and friends.
Per John's request, there will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held Tuesday at 12 noon in Highland Memorial Park in Beloit.
