John M. Aliff
Age 66, of Minerva, died Monday, July 4, 2022 in Aultman Hospital. He was born July 9, 1955 in Charleston, WV to Nellie (Aliff) Tapia. He retired from Five Star Power Cleaning and Painting in Brewster.
Johnny was very creative. In everything he did, he was an artist. He collected old denim and made a quilt. From old furniture, he created a miniature gazebo, a carousel, a church, a barn, a covered bridge, a lighthouse, a gas station, a "love nest", a Magic Factory, a doll house and a miniature city call Riff Raff Falls. At his job, when he cleaned and painted buildings, perfection was his goal. From yard work to cooking to everything he did, Johnny always gave his best. Johnny could take anything and turn it into something beautiful. Proof of his love is everywhere. Johnny was one of a kind and he will be forever missed.
He is survived by the love of his life, Joyce (Albaugh) Elifritz, children, Crystal Westfall of Minerva, Sean Elifritz of Minerva, Shiann Wallace, Jesse Aliff, sister, Anna Coates of Geneva, 6 brothers, Paul (Brenda) Aliff of Minerva, Frank (Tina) Tapia of Geneva, Mike (Sharon) Tapia of Geneva, Alex (Carolyn) Tapia of Geneva, Marco Tapia of Geneva and Adam (Katie) Tapia of Geneva, 2 grandchildren, Jamie (Jolene Powell) Westfall of Massillon, Jacob Westfall of Cincinnati, 5 great grandchildren, Jace, Jakob, Kali, Kamri and Kaia. He is preceded in death by 2 brothers, Robert Aliff and Juan Tapia, sister, Molly Holmes and his mother-in-law, Juanita Albaugh.
