Joanne Simms

Age 77, of Carrollton, passed away Saturday, June 6, 2026, in Aultman Hospital. She was born August 11, 1948, in Warren to Thomas and Ann Stratford. After graduating high school and nursing school she worked as a Registered Nurse at the Minerva Convalescent Center for 15 years and spent time working in labor and delivery in Arizona and North Carolina.

She is survived by a son, Matthew (Jessica) Simms of Malvern; daughter, Stacey Simms of Denver, CO; sister, Corky (Thomas) Old of SC; brother, David Stratford of Murfreesboro, TN and 3 grandchildren, Ava Kocher, Edee and Isaac Simms.
