JoAnn Kohmann

Age 86, of Minerva, passed away Friday, Nov. 10, 2023 in McCrea Manor.  She was born October 7, 1937 in Massillon to Leonard and Ruth (Marr) Lewis. She was a home maker and worked with her husband, John, as the title clerk of Kohmann AMC and Kohmann Ford.  She is a 1955 graduate of Jackson High School and received her RN degree from the Aultman School of Nursing. She is a member of the St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Minerva and the Minerva RN's group.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John Kohmann who passed away on Oct. 13, 2023. She is survived by her beloved children, a daughter, Laura (Sean) Kelleher of Alliance; 4 sons, Mark Kohmann of Atlanta, GA, Jeffrey (Michelle) Kohmann of Hartville, John (Evelyn Picard) Kohmann of Louisville, James (Amy) Kohmann of Alliance; a brother, Thomas (Sandi) Lewis of South Carolina; 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

A Mass of the Christian Burial will Friday at 11:00 am in St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Minerva with Fr. Victor Cinson as celebrant.  Calling hours will be one hour prior to services at the church from 10-11 am.  The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Gabriel Catholic Church.  Those wishing to send condolences may sign the online register at www.gotschallfuneralhome.com.
